James W. Spray

BSN, CCRN, CEN, RN

James is a broadly experienced RN with over a decade as an ER nurse at trauma centers, large urban hospitals, and smaller, critical access country hospitals. He also has worked extensively in EMS as an EMT and Critical Care Transport Nurse, as well as on medical surgical, telemetry, and psychiatric units. In these various roles he has worked as a charge nurse, triage nurse, nurse preceptor, clinical educator and field training officer. He is nationally board certified in Critical Care and Emergency Nursing. Prior to switching careers in 2010, he was a public educator for 15 years and holds a California Clear Single Subject Teaching Credential in Biology. He has two bachelor's degrees, one from UCLA and one from WCU, with honors.

Jason A. Hardy

BSN, CCRN, CTRN, RN

Jason has more than 10 years of acute care nursing experience beginning in medical surgical/telemetry and step-down before advancing to ICU. His ICU experience includes several types: Cardiovascular and CV surgery, Transplant, Trauma, Neuro, as well as the Critical Care Transport of those patients. He has worked as a charge nurse, nurse preceptor, clinical instructor, field training officer, and RN Clinical Supervisor. He is nationally certified in both Critical Care and Transport Nursing. Prior to switching careers, he served in the United States Army as both an enlisted soldier and an officer in the Field Artillery. He has two bachelor's degrees, one from USU and one from SMU, with honors.
